The Squid

Matt calls me.  The moment I answer he's running at full tilt.  "Keith cancel your plans Wednesday, The Squid is in FAT!"


Wednesday morning I found myself waking up at 3:00 in the morning to be in Matt's car at 4:00am with him and Fred to be at the trail head at 6:00am.


We hiked out and climbed the wet ice. Matt took the lead, I shot photos, Fred who had climbed it the day before followed.  Then I climbed it in proper top rope hero style.
